About Woolford's Binding Co.

Hi everyone!
I’m Grace, the hands behind Woolford’s Binding Co. I create hand-bound journals and photo albums using clothing from loved ones who have passed—something real to hold onto when you miss them most.
The idea for Woolford’s Binding Co. came after I lost my dad in a paragliding accident two years ago. My world turned upside down, and while I couldn’t bring myself to part with his clothing, I also knew that items such as memory bears weren’t for me. Instead, I turned one of his t-shirts into a photo album. That’s when I realised how powerful it was to have something tangible, something meaningful, to hold onto.
Losing someone we love makes it hard to imagine a future without them, but I truly believe that as long as we keep their memory alive, they are never too far away. A photo album made from their clothing or a journal to write letters to them can be a small but meaningful way to keep that connection.
I understand how meaningful and personal the clothing you choose to transform into a keepsake truly is, which is why I take the utmost care in handling every item. I ensure each piece is treated with the respect and attention it deserves.
If you'd like to see where the magic happens, you're more than welcome to visit my studio, where I can walk you through the steps and answer any questions you may have.
I know trusting someone with your loved one's clothing can feel daunting, but I promise to honour the sentiment behind each garment, creating something you can cherish for years to come.
